FREE Cycling sessions

Devon County Council has bid for, and been awarded a total of £4.94 million from the Department for Transport’s Local Sustainable Transport Fund (LSTF) over the next four years for sustainable transport schemes which help economic growth and cut congestion across the county.

Within this we have launched an exciting new programme called 'Cycling and Walking Works' and the aim is to reduce commuter congestion in Exeter, Exmouth, Newton Abbot and Kingsteignton and Totnes by increasing the number of people cycling (and walking) to work, and within work, by offering a series of FREE activities to help people change their travel habits. This will include cycle training, led rides, Bike Buddy and also include walking schemes.

To find out more please contact our local partners who are delivering this exciting new project.
